A rare posthumous color study by the master of modern color theory. In his own lifetime, Albers did little or no work on the color theory of transmitted light, working instead with the color of light reflected off paint, ink, and paper. Today, his posthumous works continue his efforts to develop a color theory solidly grounded in empirical evidence.
