The
News Stand Project made cloned produce available to the public
at large. Dan Bayles, a Los Angeles artist, curated a public
artwork inviting artists to contribute reproducible art, which
was stocked in his news stands outside subway stations throughout
the greater Los Angeles area. Small jars of cloned herbs were
dispensed from the stands on June 17, 2006, as an extension
of the Food Forever Project. |
